International Islamic Grammar School was founded in Islamabad in 1998 with a vision to provide state of the art education to the new generation along with inculcating in them the moral and ethical values. A decade later we are on our way to making that vision a reality with a mission to provide the community in Pakistan with values oriented modern education in addition to the curriculum outlined by the Cambridge and Oxford; offering learning opportunities and creative ideas; and combining them with teachings which help in character building and personality development.
At International Islamic Grammar School we provide a programme of studies that is structured from Pre-Nursery (children aged 2+) to Pre-O Levels and we plan to incorporate IGCSEs and A levels (children aged 14+ to 18+). International Islamic Grammar School teaches a child everything in accordance with the British standards of education (preparation to eventually take O-Levels and A-Levels).
Currently what sets us apart from the rest is the fact that our school offers Arabic, Quranic tafseer, Nazra and in addition, special emphasis is given on character building through hadith and real life present day situations and scenarios. Once a child graduates from IIGS we make sure that the child need not go to a 3rd person to ask about how one must conduct his/her life, they will be self-reliant and will know exactly how to lead their everyday life in accordance with the teachings of Allah and the Prophet (PBUH).
We prepare students to be successful lifelong learners, armed with the necessary knowledge; religious and worldly, along with skills necessary to succeed at school and at institutions of higher education as well as everyday life, in their future careers, and most of all as positively contributing community members with strong values and character building, who, in not too many words are individuals who are sure of themselves and their faith.
Admission to International Islamic Grammar School is open all year around to all students who display the potential to benefit from the programme of studies and subject to the availability of seats. Merit based scholarships are available to a limited number of students.
